ALEXANDER STEAKHOUSE has four locations in the United States, sourcing its beef from American Angus cattle and Australian Wagyu. The restaurants also feature their own dedicated dry-aging rooms, offering 28-day dry-aged steaks—for example, the Taipei branch has a dry-aging room right at the entrance. Among the four ALEXANDER locations, the flagship store in Cupertino, in the San Francisco Bay Area, received Michelin one-star ratings in 2011, 2012, and 2013. In addition to its star status, the restaurant is also known for its Japanese-inspired appetizers, such as sashimi. However, for its Taiwan opening, ALEXANDER STEAKHOUSE not only maintains the same quality and style as in the U.S., but also incorporates local ingredients such as sweet potato leaves and water bamboo.

The ordering system at ALEXANDER STEAKHOUSE in Taipei differs slightly from that in the U.S.—only set menus are offered, with no à la carte options. After selecting a steak as the main course, the appetizer is prepared by the chef based on the day’s available ingredients. Set menu prices range from NT$2,800 to NT$8,800. As for operating hours, dinner service is currently the only option, starting at 5:30 PM, with reservations accepted until 8:30 PM. All reservations before October 18 are fully booked.
