In recent years, 3D street art has become a trend across Taiwan. But in a small village in Xiluo, Yunlin, it breaks away from the flat concept, bringing illustrations to life. Characters from picture books, whales, and watermelons have been enlarged and recreated as installations in the park, making it feel like you're in a fairy tale world. Compared to other popular graffiti walls, this place isn’t widely known, which adds to its uniquely tranquil charm.

The "3D Picture Book Park" is located next to the Xiluo Interchange on the Zhongshan Expressway. It is themed around the picture book *A Long, Long Time Ago There Was a Courtyard House* by local artist Mahha. The scenes from the book have been brought to life in the community park, including the rice wave wall painting, two cat-shaped benches, several large watermelons… All feature a little girl as the protagonist, telling the childhood dreams of the picture book artist, with a touch reminiscent of Jimmy Liao.

In addition to the artist Mahha, cultural creative worker Liao Senmao was also instrumental. Guided by the County Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Luoyang Cultural and Educational Foundation, the park is divided into three zones and covers an area of two hectares.
