"Jetlag" opened on October 17 and is jointly operated by Hong Kong flight attendant Ah Kai and Taiwanese local Ah Do. Its standout item is the "marbled cream cheese bagel." The crispy-outside, soft-inside bagel is filled with cream infused with edible bamboo charcoal powder, producing a marble-like pattern, then topped with a honey drizzle for added flavor layers. Other bagel flavors include rose honey cream cheese and matcha almond, all priced at NT$110 each.

Beyond the bagels, savory dishes are also a highlight. As the café is co-owned by a Hong Kong native, you can get a taste of Hong Kong flair from three main dishes: egg, luncheon meat, and instant noodles; steamed chicken leg with goji berries; and home-style fermented tofu. These dishes offer a strong Hong Kong taste, blending Chinese cuisine with Western-style bagels into a fresh new style.

The café’s décor is fresh and understated, with gray cement floors and large floor-to-ceiling windows creating a calm atmosphere, complemented by green plants. Stepping inside, the window seats bathed in light filtered through white curtains offer a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, with every corner reflecting the owners’ thoughtful design.
