First male crew members join the team of hunks for the 2016 China Airlines calendar — sneak peek at the most spectacular edition ever!

China Airlines’ brand new 2016 wall and desk calendars feature 25 elegant and friendly flight and ground crew members from the China Airlines Group,and for the first time ever, male crew members have also joined the shoot, making this the grandest calendar project in the airline’s history. The theme for 2016 is “Every Day is Amazing.”In China Airlines’ new calendar, the journey begins in Taiwan and takes travelers to explore destinations around the world.

In line with the theme,the 2016 wall and desk calendars are designed to take readers on a visual tour of the festive features and natural scenery of key China Airlines destinations including the Netherlands, Japan, Germany, and the United States.For example, visit the Netherlands in March and April to admire the tulips and greet spring with vitality; enjoy the Tenjin Matsuri Festival in Osaka, Japan, in May and June, where colorful fireworks light up the summer night sky. Then experience the Munich Oktoberfest in Germany in September and October; and finally, ring in the New Year with the classic scene of New Year’s Eve in Times Square, New York!

The newly released calendar kicks off the year with traditional Chinese New Year celebrations, ushering in the new year with blessings. For instance, the January and February pages feature “Blessings at Longshan Temple, Taiwan — Wishing for Peace and Prosperity,” showcasing the internationally popular tourist attraction of Longshan Temple and highlighting the beauty of Taiwanese temple architecture, as everyone joins together to pray for a wonderful new year.

Meanwhile, July and August mark China Airlines’ “Rising Stars Tribute Month.” Starting from the third quarter of 2016, China Airlines will begin taking delivery of 14 newly ordered A350 aircraft, which will be deployed on long-haul routes across Europe and the United States. These planes combine human touch with cutting-edge technology, showcasing creativity, youthfulness, and style of the new generation.
