Located in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, Wajima City is famous for its traditional culture known as "Hanayome Noren." Hanayome Noren is a custom in the Hokuriku region, including Kaga, Noto, and Echizen, where brides bring an embroidered curtain with their family crest or vibrant colors as part of their dowry, symbolizing the blessings of their parental home. During the wedding ceremony, the noren is hung at the entrance of the groom’s family altar, and the bride must pass through it to the altar to pay respects to her ancestors, symbolizing the start of a new life.

To allow travelers to truly experience this traditional culture,Isshu Sugi-dori in Wajima City has specially launched a Japanese bridal costume trial experience at the shop Shirube?. Travelers can choose to wear a pure white Shiromuku or a luxurious red uchikake, all for just ¥2,000, and after dressing up, they can also experience passing through the bridal noren to feel the local traditional culture.！
