When autumn arrives, vast fields of golden chrysanthemums intermingle with fiery red hibiscus seas, carpeting the land of eastern Taiwan in vibrant hues. 1. Beinan Area:Wu Dongjun points out that the Beinan area is one of the main spots in Taitung to admire chrysanthemums, with sightings available all the way to the Kadibuh tribe. In addition, this is also a recommended place to view hibiscus.

2. Donghe Township:Donghe Township is not only home to famous attractions such as Dulan Mountain, the Water Flowing Upstream, and Taiyuan Valley, but its hibiscus seas are also among the most beautiful autumn sights.

3. Jinfeng Township:Known as the “Hundred-Step Township,” one of Jinfeng Township’s highlights is its hibiscus. Every November when the hibiscus blooms, the local area holds a Hibiscus Festival where visitors can taste hibiscus juice and other agricultural products, making it a major autumn event.

4. Taimali Township:Known in the Paiwan language as the “fertile land bathed in sunlight,” Taimali enjoys flower seas throughout the year.
