A terrorist attack occurred in Paris, France, causing multiple casualties. People from all walks of life have expressed their condolences. Taipei 101 will also light up its exterior curtain wall lights tonight (November 14) in the red, white and blue colors representing the French flag to mourn the victims of the Paris terrorist attack and send prayers for the injured.

On the evening of the 13th local time, seven shooting incidents were reported in Paris, France — at bars, the Bataclan Theatre, and the Stade de France national stadium. The death toll at the theatre alone has exceeded 140 and may continue to rise. President Francois Hollande urgently declared that “the nation is under a state of emergency and borders have been closed.” He also stated that “this is an unprecedented terrorist attack.”
