Could there really be a cat on a mailbox? A recent mailbox that appeared in Jiashian, Kaohsiung features a painted cat, making it a true “cat” mailbox. And it’s not just for decoration — you can actually mail letters from it, turning it into a new landmark of Jiashian, Kaohsiung.

The alleyway beside Lin Sen Road in Jiashian is too narrow for cars to pass through, so cats are often seen roaming this small lane. Therefore, the local community has adopted the “cat” as the main theme for neighborhood revitalization, painting various cats on the walls to create an atmosphere where people feel as if they’ve entered a cat’s world — full of childlike charm. The Jiashian Post Office nearby also echoes the community theme of Cat Alley and introduced a hand-painted cat mailbox, turning this mailbox, unique to the people of Jiashian, into a new highlight of Cat Alley.
