New Japan Routes + New Aircrafts Launched – TransAsia Airways Recruiting 60 Flight Attendants

Chen Yih-chieh, spokesperson for TransAsia Airways, pointed out that following the August increase in Tokyo flights, starting from December, services on Hokkaido routes—including Sapporo and Asahikawa—will also be expanded. In addition, two new A330 wide-body aircraft will join the fleet in the fourth quarter of this year, significantly boosting capacity and accordingly increasing the need for staff. The airline continues to recruit flight attendants and welcomes those who are confident, resilient, possess high emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a strong passion for service to apply.

Flight attendant recruitment is done through online application. From now until November 30 (Monday), applicants must hold at least a college degree from a domestic or international institution, have uncorrected or corrected visual acuity of 0.8 or better in both eyes, and demonstrate proficiency in Mandarin, Taiwanese (Hokkien), and English, along with English test scores. Those who can communicate in other foreign languages such as Japanese or Korean will receive additional consideration.

Preliminary selection results are expected to be announced in December. Candidates will then go through final selection and medical examinations.
