The Ziqiang Night Market in Ji’an Township, Hualien County, will operate for the last time on the 30th before permanently closing. Some vendors from Ziqiang Night Market will relocate to the Dongmenmen Tourist Night Market. The closure is due to issues such as illegal land use and urban planning, dealing a significant blow to local vendors.

The Industry and Commerce Management Section of the Construction Department of Hualien County Government stated that the lottery for vendor placement was completed on the morning of the 30th, with a total of 79 vendors set to move into Dongmenmen Night Market. These vendors were all pre-screened and qualified to ensure quality.
