You Can Eat Your Fill for Under a Thousand – A Collection of Eight Affordable Buffet Restaurants

The buffet restaurant Caihui at Grand Mayfull Hotel recently began soft operations along with the hotel itself, with lunch priced at NT$1,500 and dinner at NT$2,000, making it currently one of the most expensive all-you-can-eat restaurants in Taiwan. Just days after Caihui’s soft opening, the first branch of Chao Fang – a Hong Kong-style dim sum and Chinese cuisine buffet from Kaohsiung that moved north – opened at Breeze Nanjing, offering over a hundred dishes for less than NT$500 and quickly gaining immense popularity. ETtoday, a news outlet under Eastern Broadcasting Co., has compiled a list of seven all-you-can-eat restaurants where dinner prices on weekdays are under a thousand NT dollars for your reference.

Chao Fang Hong Kong-style Dim Sum Buffet
Established in 2010 by Kaohsiung Daba Catering Group in Kaohsiung, “Chao Fang Hong Kong-style Dim Sum Buffet” has officially expanded to Taipei, with its Breeze Nanjing branch officially opening on January 9th. The biggest highlight of Chao Fang Hong Kong-style Dim Sum Buffet is its Hong Kong-style dim sum buffet format combined with freshly cooked stir-fried dishes, offering a hundred delicious choices, especially......with weekday lunches priced at NT$479 and weekday dinners as well as weekend lunches and dinners only at NT$549, making it an exceptionally affordable option in the Greater Taipei area..Meanwhile, the Chao Fang branches in Kaohsiung and Tainan offer weekday lunches at NT$429 and weekday dinners as well as weekend lunches and dinners at NT$469.

Known as the “King of Buffets” in the southern region, Han Lai Seafood Port Restaurant officially entered the Taipei market at the end of last year and currently has six branches across Taiwan. It claims to have the richest variety of seafood in Taiwan, with ingredients regularly updated according to seasonality. Additionally, it offers a range of international and local cuisines, divided into nine themed dining zones. These include a seafood cold station, international cuisine, Asian cuisine, Japanese grill and fried foods, made-to-order dishes, soups, and desserts. Their signature Brandy Grapefruit is a must-try. Thai Royal City is considered the first all-Thai cuisine buffet restaurant in central Taiwan. It specializes in Thai-themed dishes, sashimi, and carefully selected seasonal seafood. It also offers “made-to-order” items such as Thai spicy chicken, moon shrimp cakes, lemon fish, spicy sour seafood soup, coconut chicken soup, shrimp vermicelli burgers, grilled steak, and more.
