Skating Just Got More Expensive: Taipei Arena Ice Rink Implements “Weekday vs. Weekend Differential Pricing”

Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation announced that, in order to alleviate weekend crowds at the Taipei Arena Ice Rink, it will implement“weekday vs. weekend differential pricing”starting February 15, along with the introduction of various functional skate cards tailored to users’ skating frequency for them to choose from.

Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation stated that, referencing other domestic ice skating venues, the ice rink’s ticket price has been adjusted from the original NT$190 to NT$200 on weekdays and NT$220 on weekends. In addition, in line with the Taipei City Government’s promotion of the Taipei Card policy, holders of the Taipei Card can enjoy a 10% discount when visiting the ice rink on weekdays.

At the same time, based on users’ skating habits, three types of seasonal passes will also be introduced, and skating aids will be made available to help first-time skaters enjoy the activity smoothly.
