Stunning！A Sea of Rose Lights to Light Up Hong Kong on Feb. 14 — 25,000 Blooms to “Illuminate Central”

The “Rose Garden of Light,” which caused a great sensation in Dongdaemun, Seoul, South Korea last year, will move to Hong Kong starting Valentine’s Day, February 14. Twenty-five thousand white roses will be lit up at 6 p.m., and the densely packed rose sea will illuminate the night sky along Hong Kong’s Central waterfront.

The romantic and spectacular sea of roses will be “planted” along the Hong Kong Central Harbourfront Promenade. The lights will be turned on every evening at 6 p.m. from February 14 to 22, and admission is free. The exhibition will feature approximately 25,000 LED white roses, covering an area of 1,782 square meters — larger than the display area in South Korea. Each white rose light consists of an LED bulb and seven layers of petals, is waterproof, and stands about 70 cm to 80 cm tall to create varying visual heights.
