The Linkou Mitsui Outlet Park “MITSUI OUTLET PARK” began a trial operation today (21st), a week ahead of its official opening, drawing consumer attention. However, at the trial site, only about 40% of brand stores have started operations, while around 80% of restaurants are open. Visitors on-site noted that most consumers were crowded in the dining area. “There’s not much to see if you come at this time!”

The Linkou Mitsui Outlet Park is scheduled to officially open on the 27th. The overall environment and space are fully completed, with brand stores and restaurants having officially moved in. The trial operation was held a week before the official opening, but the presence of stores is sparse, with most shutters still down and many not yet open for business. Although around 80% of the restaurants are operational, all the visitors are crowded in the dining area. On-site visitors suggest it’s better to wait for the official opening to fully enjoy the shopping experience.

The Mitsui Outlet Park features a semi-open layout, hosting 220 brands and 16 dining outlets. It combines international, Japanese, and Taiwanese brand outlets, including 52 stores making their first appearance in Taiwan, along with 56 shops related to fashion, dining, and food sales such as multi-brand boutiques. Among them, 17 Japanese brands are opening their first stores in Taiwan.
