First Flight Sale on 27th — Tigerair Taiwan’s Tokyo/Ibaraki Tickets from NT$999

Following the announcement by Ibaraki Airport in Japan about Tigerair Taiwan’s upcoming launch, the airline has officially confirmed that it will commence flights on the Taipei–Tokyo (Haneda) and Taipei–Ibaraki routes starting March 11 and March 15, respectively, making it the first national carrier to operate flights to Ibaraki. To celebrate the launch, inaugural one-way fares start as low as NT$999.

Tigerair Taiwan’s regular one-way fare for Taipei–Tokyo Haneda starts from NT$3,000, while the Taipei–Ibaraki route starts from NT$2,000. The first promotional sale is limited to two days, from 9:00 on January 27 to 23:59 on January 28 (while stocks last), with one-way fares starting from NT$999. The applicable flight dates range from the launch date until April 30, during the peak cherry blossom season.

Tigerair Taiwan noted that Haneda Airport is close to downtown Tokyo, just a 30-minute train ride away from the Tokyo metropolitan area, offering both convenience and time-saving benefits. Ibaraki Airport is also conveniently accessible, with a shuttle bus to Tokyo Station available for just 500 yen (about the cost of one coin), making round trips to and from the airport effortless. Notable attractions in Ibaraki Prefecture, such as Hitachi Seaside Park, Kairaku-en Garden, and Ryujin Ohashi Bridge, have received high praise and are perfect for nature-loving travelers.

Tigerair Taiwan’s Taipei–Tokyo (Haneda) route will commence on March 11, operating three round-trip flights per week. Flight ZV252 departs Taipei Taoyuan at 22:00 every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, arriving at Haneda Airport at 02:00 local time the next day. The return flight, ZV253, departs Haneda Airport at 03:00 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and is scheduled to arrive at Taipei Taoyuan at 06:00.

The Taipei–Ibaraki route is expected to begin on March 15, operating four round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flight ZV240 departs Taipei at 07:00, arriving in Ibaraki at 11:10 local time. After a one-hour layover, Flight ZV241 departs Ibaraki at 12:10 local time and is scheduled to arrive at Taipei Taoyuan at 14:35.
