Celebrate the Lantern Festival this year with the Chiayi Historical Materials Museum and enjoy the spring vibes!The museum, which had been closed for four months due to renovation work, will officially reopen on February 2, 105, with an opening ceremony scheduled for 10:00 AM on February 4,What was once an overgrown backyard has been transformed into a beautiful Japanese garden. The architecture of the Chiayi City Historical Materials Museum features a strong Japanese “shoin-zukuri” wooden structure and is a city-designated historical site,with interior exhibits showcasing the people and cultural history of Chiayi. It is divided into eight exhibition areas, each with a different theme,interweaving past and present to highlight their respective eras of glory.
