Yilan Munia Coffee: French Toast and Brownie That Fill You with Happiness

At Giraffe English, there are no giraffes teaching you, but at Munia Coffee, there really are munias (a type of bird)! The shop also has plenty of munia-themed decorations. That day, after soaking in the hot springs in Jiaoxi, we came here for coffee and a break, while also enjoying a bit of a hipster vibe. This Munia Apartment is located on Jiaoxi Street, right across from McDonald’s. It’s a tiny place, and you might walk right past it without noticing. The decor inside is very simple!! Just simple tables and chairs, simple lights. We came in the afternoon, and when the lights were turned on, the atmosphere of the whole space was actually quite nice～

The menu mainly features light meals. We ordered coffee, milk tea, French toast, and a brownie served with vanilla ice cream.

The latte had a smooth and delicate milk foam, and the latte art was pretty well done too. This cup was also infused with ginger juice and brown sugar. The strong coffee was complemented by the flavor of ginger and the aroma of brown sugar~~ It was really quite good, warming both the body and the heart in winter.

The French toast!! This one was really delicious—the aroma of eggs and butter blended together in your mouth, and the texture was quite delicate and soft!! When the butter slowly melted and mixed with the toast, it gave a truly satisfying feeling of happiness.

The brownie looked pretty good, though we might prefer softer ones—this one was a bit hard.

The window on the wall!! This kind of decoration is quite interesting.
