Fresh & Aged Meifu Dry-Aged Steakhouse has launched a new series of American and Australian Wagyu steaks paired with delicious seafood such as lobster and scallops, available in single, double, or triple portions. The highlight is the AA11 grade Wagyu New York strip steak from AACO Kobe Cuisine, Australia’s most renowned Wagyu brand. The 14-ounce two-person set is priced at NT$4,500.
AACO Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is Australia’s largest and oldest livestock and farming company, established in 1824. It is also the country’s biggest supplier of Wagyu beef, with its Kobe Cuisine line hailed as “Australia’s most luxurious and refined Wagyu brand.” The newly launched AA11 grade Wagyu is grain-fed for over 500 days, featuring fine, dense marbling with a 11+ marble score (equivalent to Japan’s A4 grade Wagyu), resulting in richly flavorful, tender meat that is produced in limited quantities.
Chef Chen Zhongguang explained that the New York strip cut was chosen specifically because it comes from the lower back, an area with more muscle movement, giving the meat a firmer chew that perfectly balances the rich marbling of AA11-grade Wagyu. The result is a steak that excels in tenderness, flavor, texture, and aroma.
