To encourage people to embrace nature during the spring season, The Shorea Hotel in Yilan’s Jiaoxi has launched daily lawn parties from now until May 31. The package includes an overnight stay in a hot spring suite with two meals, offering a revitalizing vacation experience. Guests can enjoy a picnic, make their own DIY wood-fired pizza, and take part in outdoor games. Refreshing menu items include Sanxing scallion bread, chef’s sandwiches, a nine-grid fruit platter, trendy canned salads, and mango-raspberry jelly. Additionally, a wood-fired pizza oven is available for the first time, with topping choices including cheese, bacon, ham, bell peppers, mushrooms, and more. Guests can freely choose their favorite ingredients and presentation styles. A star chef will provide on-site instruction and personally bake your pizza in the oven. Those who take photos of their picnic and pizza creations and share them online may also have a chance to win a picnic basket worth NT$5,000.
