Let elegant orchids convey your sentiments.The Shilin Official Residence has launched an “Orchid Exhibition” at the New Orchid Pavilion, featuring 18 varieties and over 400 Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium orchids.Not only can you admire grand orchid arrangements, but there are also small and lovely potted displays to enjoy.

The Taipei City Government Department of Public Works’ Bureau of Urban Development noted that among this year’s exhibited varieties,the Phalaenopsis orchid with the “Colorful Butterfly” variety being the most distinctive,boasting pink petals adorned with large white spots — very unique, like a spring flower butterfly. And for those who love fragrant blooms, don’t miss theDendrobium “Pocket Lover,” which emits bursts of jasmine fragrance when in bloom,with an unexpectedly rich and surprising scent.
