Western (European) buffet restaurants offering a variety of all-you-can-eat meals are many people’s top choice for group dining. However, apart from Western-style, there are also many other types of all-you-can-eat options available on the market, such as Thai Market, Thai Emperor City in Taichung, the veteran fried chicken brand Ding Gua Gua which has launched an all-you-can-eat option, and Pizza Hut, which has 10 outlets across Taiwan offering all-you-can-eat pizza (at Happy Bar).

Chaofang Hong Kong-style Dim Sum All-You-Can-Eat Buffet
Chaofang Hong Kong-style Dim Sum All-You-Can-Eat Buffet is one of the brands under the DaBa Catering Group, primarily offering a variety of Hong Kong-style dishes and dim sum. In addition to a wide array of freshly fried and pan-fried dim sum displayed on the buffet counters for guests to freely serve themselves, it also retains the nostalgic trolley service of traditional teahouses, where steamed dim sum are delivered directly to diners’ tables by staff. The newest branch is the Taipei Neihu InBase Store, which has up to 350 seats—the largest in Taiwan and double the size of the Nanjing Store. Besides more seating, many new dishes have been added, such as spicy stir-fried crab, freshly cooked sliced fish soup, made-to-order satay seafood vermicelli hotpot, and limited-time offerings of Hong Kong-style braised beef tendon.

Thai Market Seafood Buffet
Located on the sixth floor of Eslite Bookstore Xinyi Store, Thai Market is Taiwan’s first all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant themed around Thai seafood cuisine. In the ten years since its opening, its performance has grown steadily. Thai Market makes extensive use of a variety of spices, each with unique flavors and characteristics, to fully convey classic Thai tastes. The chefs use a wide selection of seasonal fresh seafood to provide a rich and great-value dining experience. The interior design of the restaurant was overseen by Japanese space design master, Yoshifumi Hashimoto. The restaurant features four standalone villas full of Thai ambiance, allowing customers to experience the leisurely vibe of dining in a Thai resort while in Taiwan.

Thai Emperor City Thai All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Restaurant(Closed)
Thai Emperor City is considered the first all-Thai cuisine buffet restaurant in central Taiwan, specializing in Thai-themed dishes, sashimi, and carefully selected seasonal seafood. It also offers specially made “cooked-to-order” items such as Thai spicy numb chicken, moon shrimp cakes, lemon fish, spicy sour seafood soup, coconut chicken soup, shrimp vermicelli burgers, and pan-seared steak. Covering 150 ping (approximately 495 m²), it can accommodate up to 110 guests, featuring Thai-style décor. The price is uniformly 598 NTD + 10% service charge, regardless of time.

TKK Buffet
All-you-can-eat buffet restaurants are super popular across Taiwan, and now even the classic fried chicken brand “TKK” has gone buffet-style. In addition to its affordable prices, there’s also quite a diverse menu. Most of the traditional TKK offerings are available here, including fried chicken, sweet potato fries, TKK buns, and sweet buns. There’s also stir-fried dishes and desserts—you definitely won’t leave hungry.

The hot food section is constantly refreshed, and all dishes are made to order, so you’ll need to wait patiently. Currently, TKK Buffet has three branches: Banqiao Xinpuyi Branch, Sanchong Branch, and the recently opened Songshan Zhong’] Branch in December last year. Be sure to make a reservation before you go to avoid waiting in long queues.
