The 2016 Waipu UFO Wheat Joy Culture Festival kicked off on the 19th in Sanli, Taichung！Visitors could seelarge and small "crop circles" in the wheat fields, all created by farmers stepping through the fields.There were also adorable alien babies standing in the fields to greet guests, plus a musical feast featuring local ingredients. The site was packed with activities — people could visit the farmers' market, do some painting, take part in challenges, and win prizes.

Zhao Yiteng, head of Waipu District, said,the large and small "crop circles," created by trampling through the wheat waves, are creative symbols representing alien visits.This year, we specially designed cute, hand-painted alien babies placed throughout the wheat fields, and invited students from nearby junior high and elementary schools to take part in the painting.
