It’s full of childlike fun — kids love candy houses, and the creativity here is endless. The place also offers parent-child DIY experiences, making it a great sightseeing factory for families and a wonderful spot for creatives to find inspiration or enjoy a holiday. When visiting Yuanshan Township in Yilan, there are many fun attractions and sightseeing factories nearby. Pingzi recommends planning a two-day, one-night trip to Yilan where you canfirst check in to the very cozy “Yoshino Cherry B&B”, then for lunch head to the nearbyfamously delicious “Old Mama Tofu Cheese Clay Pot Chicken”to enjoy a lunch break.

As you approach, you’ll be greeted by a strong Japanese architectural style. Just by looking at these buildings, you’ll know you’ve arrived at ?Feng Xiaopu Yilan Yuanshan Pavilion / ?Feng Candy Workshop.

Regular visitors to Yilan will likely be familiar with Yuanshan. This was originally the garden restaurant of Dutch Village, but later taken over by ?Feng Xiaopu and transformed into a sightseeing factory. They offer meals as well as candy DIY parent-child experience activities.

?Feng Xiaopu Yilan Yuanshan Pavilion / ?Feng Candy Workshop, with its signature blue background and white lettering, is very eye-catching and easily noticeable from afar.

Candy lovers are sure to know the iconic reputation of ?Feng Xiaopu. Most of their products are sold in department stores or small shops in downtown Taipei, but now they’ve opened a sightseeing factory in Yilan Yuanshan — adding another great destination for families and creatives and giving off serious vacation vibes.

?Feng Xiaopu Yilan Yuanshan Pavilion / ?Feng Candy Workshop chose to open in Yilan, blessed with beautiful mountains and waters — a truly visionary move. Originally the site of Dutch Village, the structure hasn’t changed much, but enhancements have added texture to the building, making it even more appealing.

?Feng Xiaopu Yilan Yuanshan Pavilion / ?Feng Candy Workshop is located in Yuanshan Township, known as the “Hometown of Water.” For many years, and now this ?Feng Xiaopu Yilan Yuanshan Pavilion / ?Feng Candy Workshop has been built on the water, adding yet another layer of meaning.

Next to ?Feng Xiaopu Yilan Yuanshan Pavilion / ?Feng Candy Workshop is a white overwater wooden house with large glass windows overlooking the outdoor rural garden scenery — super soothing.

The surrounding garden landscaping resembles a resort, and the overwater house adds another highlight and distinctive feature to the sightseeing factory.

The whole building is painted white, giving off an elegant vibe with a truly fantastic atmosphere — perfect for photos.

The dining area, with its neat layout, resembles a small glass cabin, offering a unique charm.

The restaurant is surrounded by lush greenery, creating an amazing ambiance with nature by your side — it's super healing for the soul.

?Feng Xiaopu Yilan Yuanshan Pavilion / ?Feng Candy Workshop offers simple light meals and drinks, so besides DIY experiences, you can also enjoy some beverages and satisfy your taste buds.

The space is minimalistic and bright, with wood-textured tables and red round modern Nordic chairs, adding a touch of design flair.

Light refracts through the glass cabin into the interior, creating a bright and airy space complemented by greenery — a blend of nature and architecture that feels like life brewing.

The menu includes sandwiches, fried snacks, ice cream, pancakes, and more.

The back features coffee drink options, with fairly affordable coffee prices.

You’ll be amazed as soon as you step inside—candy everywhere, so vibrant and colorful, creating a whimsical, childlike world.

The main building’s shop isn’t very large, but it offers a dazzling array of creative products and fun candy items to admire and play with. Just looking at them brings a smile and sparks creativity and inspiration.

Though they’re just candies, they’re incredibly creative—you can’t help but want to take some home.
