The adorable White Rabbit Girl and Kappa Boy have taken over the internet—come meet them at the world’s only “Aranzi” apartment in Tainan

Even before stepping inside, guests are warmly welcomed by the cute White Rabbit Girl at the entrance. The three-story apartment has an Aranzi café on the first floor, with charming character decorations lining the walls. Further inside, you’ll see a sign that says “No Entry for Non-Guests,” marked with a “Bad Thing” character, which leads to the guest room area. Passing through the typical old house courtyard, you climb the stairs where elegant white music-note-shaped carved banisters shine magically in the sunlight. Blue skies and white clouds stream through the glass roof, complementing the black-and-white Panda Boy design—it feels like stepping into a beautiful painting, as if officially entering the world of Aranzi.

There are a total of four rooms at the Aranzi Apartment, all for four people, across two buildings. Building A features the cute room of the Rabbit Sisters and the tile-roofed room of the Kappa; Building B houses the game room of the Bad Thing friends and the Panda Kingdom. The “Rabbit Sisters Room” is designed in soft, sweet pastel tones for a dreamy girly vibe. The “Kappa Room” emphasizes a Japanese-style setting, with a tatami living room, bedroom, small garden, and even an outdoor bath. The “Bad Thing Room,” with its bold red and black color scheme, resembles a mini art exhibition space with a playful and mischievous theme. Finally, there's the mature yet playful “Panda Room,” using simple black-and-white colors—pandas appear everywhere on the walls, beds, and windows, making you feel like you've entered a panda kingdom. Notably, every painting you see in the Aranzi Apartment was hand-drawn on-site by designers who came all the way from Japan.

Why choose Tainan? The Aranzi Apartment team said they love the laid-back atmosphere of this ancient city, as well as the fun contrast between the old architecture and creative culture. As for whether there are plans to open Aranzi Apartments elsewhere, they stated there are no current plans—the only location in the world is right here in Tainan, Taiwan. Guests also receive a small welcome gift upon check-in, including toothbrushes, towels, and slippers, all of which can be taken home as souvenirs.

The Aranzi Apartment offers two breakfast options: Chinese and Western. The Chinese menu features Tainan street snacks, which change daily—possibilities include rice cake, spring rolls, gueh-bah (steamed pork buns), meat zongzi, vegetable zongzi, and more. The Western menu includes sandwiches or toast (all prepared in-house).
