Taiwan is experiencing the most beautiful "April Maple", with the hills of Aowanda in Yangmingshan, Taipei, covered in a stunning sea of red leaves. Different from the popular cherry blossom viewing or green maple scenery in spring, the expansive red leaf landscape is truly impressive when viewed from above.

Apart from the usual autumn foliage season, Aowanda is also well-known for its "April Maple". During the transition between winter and spring, new shoots on the maple trees emerge and gradually turn red, creating this unique crimson forest landscape. The main viewing area is located in the Aowanda Forest Recreation Area, which is near Section 0, Pingjing Street in Taipei.

Photographer "Flying in the Sky" captured the beautiful April Maple from an aerial perspective, showing the entire hillside dyed in red. Visitors are scattered along the mountain paths, complementing the lush greenery, making the scene even more picturesque. This "April Maple" display can be enjoyed all the way until May if the weather remains stable.

A special reminder for travelers interested in aerial photography: drone flying is prohibited within Yangmingshan National Park. The aerial footage here was taken outside the national park boundaries, so visitors must pay attention to this rule when visiting.
