Must-try "Ichiran Ramen" in Japan   First Taipei branch to open in H2 this year

Ichiran Ramen is a must-visit ramen spot for Taiwanese travelers in Japan. Now, following its Hong Kong outlet, it is set to open its first Taiwan branch in Taipei’s Yongkang commercial district — also its second overseas location. The store is expected to debut in the second half of this year, exciting many ramen enthusiasts.

Ichiran Ramen is highly popular among Taiwanese travelers for its rich pork bone broth and customizable options — from noodle firmness to soup richness. Its individual partitioned seating allows solo diners to enjoy their meal in comfort, making it a top “must-eat” choice for those traveling to Japan.

According to the United Daily News, rumors about Ichiran Ramen’s entry into Taiwan have been circulating for a while, with earlier reports suggesting possible locations such as Taipei’s East District and Section 4 of Zhongxiao East Road. The latest update, however, indicates that the brand’s first Taiwan store will be located in the Yongkang commercial district, with plans to officially open as early as the second half of this year.
