Only 100 spots per year!“Czech Working Holiday” program now open for applications

Want to go on a working holiday abroad? Now there's one more country you can visit. At the end of 2015, Taiwan and the Czech Republic signed a Memorandum on Youth Working Holiday (full name: "Memorandum on Youth Working Holiday between the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Czech Republic and the Czech Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei"), and applications have been accepted from this day onward. It is open to Taiwanese youths aged 18 to 26 who wish to go on a working holiday in the Czech Republic.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated,The Czech Republic opens up 100 spots per year for Taiwanese youths aged 18 to 26 (inclusive), with a maximum stay of up to 1 year, calculated from the date the visa is issued.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reminds applicants that, in accordance with the Czech Employment Act, those going to the Czech Republic for a working holiday must first apply for a work permit (Work Permit) at the local Public Employment Service Office before they can start working. At present, Taiwan has signed youth working holiday programs with 14 countries, including 9 in Europe. The Czech Republic is the 14th country globally and the 9th in Europe to sign such a program with Taiwan, following Germany, the United Kingdom, Irelandhttp://youthtaiwan.net　Search.
