"Taipei Keda Hotel" opens! All 745 guest rooms have bathtubs and landscape windows

Taipei’s newest landmark in Wanhua, the Caesar Metro Taipei, operated by the Caesar Hotel chain, officially opened today (the 24th). Located in the newly completed Twin Star Towers in Wanhua, it is about a five-minute walk from Longshan Temple MRT Station. It is also the only international-grade hotel in Taiwan co-located with a Taiwan Railways station. The hotel highlights that every room has an outward view, a bathtub, and a bidet, and is expected to become the most premium five-star hotel in the Wanhua district.

Taipei Cathay Hotel targets Japanese and Korean guests in its nearby commercial area. It has a total of 745 rooms. The lobby features marble columns, with murals representing Taiwan’s rich marine resources, underwater landscapes, and Guanyin Mountain scenery to welcome guests. The floors are divided into three styles: light industrial, luxury, and elegant. There are seven room types in total, including presidential suites, deluxe rooms, refined rooms, and standard rooms. Every room boasts a scenic window offering views of Taiwan’s beautiful landscapes — northward toward Guanyin Mountain and the Tamsui River, and southward toward Zhongyonghe and the Xindian River.

The hotel features a classic Chinese banquet restaurant and the Hundred Banquets buffet, focusing on high-end Taiwanese cuisine. Signature dishes include Crab Roe Tofu Hot Pot, Home-Style Braised Pork, Red Wine Vinegar Pork Tenderloin, and Wuxi Crispy Eel.
