Fenglin is located between the Central Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range. It’s a Hakka-majority slow-paced mountain town where the natural environment and traditional culture are well preserved – and these are precisely what make this Hakka slow city so enchanting. In 2014, Fenglin Town was certified as an International Cittaslow (slow city), making it the first in the nation and the only one in eastern Taiwan to receive this international recognition. Every visitor who experiences the slow pace of life here will find their own hurried rhythm slowing down, allowing their busy minds to rest amid Fenglin’s tranquil “slow” atmosphere.

Snow Cloud Castle is designed to resemble a dreamy European manor. In addition to a strikingly eye-catching tall castle, it features ancient stone brick exteriors, unique iron doors, windows, and railings. Next to the castle, there's also a fairytale cottage in the garden that looks as if it has jumped right out of a storybook.

Although Fenglin is a Hakka-majority slow-paced mountain town, it is also home to many indigenous people, primarily the Amis. From July to September each year, the Amis Harvest Festival attracts many visitors who come to experience the vibrant, rich, and hospitable Amis culture.

The Water Buffalo Prairie at Shin Kong Chao Fong Farm offers stunning scenery, while Wong Fei Grass is named after singer Faye Wong, who shot an advertisement here. The Flower Café Flower Sea area is planted with a variety of flowers, offering different floral landscapes all year round — perfect for travelers looking to unwind and embrace nature.
