Looking up at the stars and moon, recalling every camping story, each one painted through the lens—the enchanting melodies of the forest in the morning breeze, the mysterious starry skies atop the mountains at midnight. It turns out that anywhere can feel magical, as long as you’re there under the starlit sky with me. In the wild camping grounds, you’ll never be lonely.

Good taste also deserves a good campsite, right?!

The dream of an outdoorsman (GF6 F11 S3 ISO160 DB8 slot card).

First, let’s take a look at the driving directions to Hali Camping Site: Take Exit Guoxing-Puli Interchange on National Highway 6 (pass Fish Pond Interchange, the next one is the correct one—you haven’t reached the end yet).

Head toward Provincial Highway 21 (night photos are not very clear).

Remember, when heading toward Guoxing and the Zhengde Puli Giant Buddha, please turn left.

Along the way, stop in front of the public temple to grab some beer (there’s a convenient parking lot).

A small convenience store where restocking is very affordable.

Continue along Provincial Highway 21 to the 42 km mark, then turn right onto Fuxing Road.

After passing Dreamer No. 8 by about 500 meters, turn right into the alley at the sign for Ren’ai Home.

At the end is the Land God Temple—turn left and cross the small bridge.

There are signs for Hali ahead of the small bridge—turn right.

About 300 meters ahead, there’s a small red iron railing bridge—turn right across the bridge (there’s a small Hali sign…).

Whoosh, just thirty seconds and you’re at the campsite lol (first check out Phase I Area A).

The Hali Camping headquarters—Phase I Area A is clean and spacious, accommodating up to 20 tents.

Reserve a few tents for an early night adventure.

To the right of the campsite is a lush green forest.

In the center of the campsite, the vast open area makes even the bear tents and canopies look tiny.

All the tents are pitched around the perimeter.

Haruru ensures that every area has play spaces for little ones.

Clean white sand pits and other play facilities.

There are small stairs nearby for the little ones to go up and down easily.

Haruru Phase I Area A is designed as a five-star camping site for group glamping. Great care has been put into the campsite’s scenery alone.

A leisurely group camping experience, coupled with mountain views nearby, really makes you want to stay quiet and extend your trip for a few more days.

Now let’s take a look at Haruru’s latest Night View & Scenic Phase II Campsite Area B.

Area B’s grassy slopes and key areas are basically not yet completed (currently under rushed construction).

But it seems there were already nearly twenty tents pitched in this area today (not counted precisely).

Gravel campsite—when setting up tents, remember to use a ground mat to prevent damage to the tent bottom.

A distant shot reveals some gravel areas still not fully leveled—it may take several passes to gradually improve them, perhaps?

The entire slope is currently being planted with grass (B area playground).

Three centralized sinks (15 sinks in total).

Large sorting bins to prevent animals from digging through.

Basically all electrical facilities are housed in waterproof boxes—safety first.

Bathroom and toilet area with 100% cleanliness (at night, there will be several hairdryers available near the door for use).

Small details, big expertise.

New bathrooms, with dedicated staff for cleaning and tidying.

Actually, if you look closely, this campsite is also suitable for camper trailers.

Around twenty tents—there’s still quite a bit of open space left in Area B.

The area on the right near the trees is still under preparation.

The central area of the campsite is reserved as a playground for the little ones.

Just these few features are enough to keep the little ones entertained all day long.

I heard from the campsite owner that they plan to install water slides in the future (making it the first water slide-equipped campsite).

This is exactly what camping should feel like, right?!

Camping under the tung blossoms offers a whole different experience.

Now let’s take a look at Area C. The lower section of Area C is C1, which visually accommodates about 20 tents, and also includes a campfire pit.

There’s a row of bathrooms with clean interiors, including two parent-child bathroom sets.

The sinks are equipped with LED lighting that changes colors — modern, bright, and flawless.

Mists and mountain vapors appear unexpectedly, offering a visual feast.

In one campsite, you can enjoy night views, mountain mists, low-altitude sea of clouds, and starry skies.

This night trip was totally worth it — great value for money.

The ever-changing Harilu Campsite satisfies all campers’ needs in one go.

(Upper Section of Area C) C2 Area.

A very, very large block — visually it can fit around 25 tents.

Friday night trips are all about moments like this.

Peaceful and quiet — my favorite.

Simple and unadorned — also my favorite.

Enjoying a morning coffee with the feeling of having the whole tent area to yourself is truly amazing.

The play area in Area C is also very spacious (though kids need adult supervision while playing).

There’s also a vending machine available.

Charming foggy scenery in the rain.

Even with twenty tents pitched, C2 Area still feels incredibly spacious.

This time, I went camping with fellow camper and friend Xie Yuhan.

On the second day, under the rain, clouds and sea of mist churned dynamically.

This grand mountain mist scene in the rain — I hadn’t encountered one in ages, and here it was unfolding right before my eyes.

It had rained for nearly 12 hours, leaving the small gravel ground at the campsite slightly puddled.

Camping, huh? Why fuss over whether there's water pooling or how storm-worthy the site is?

At a campsite, it’s not about how many times you’ve camped.

What matters is, how happy am I camping today?

Night riding under the starlight is what makes me happiest, right?

The final section, Zone D, lower level D1 (no sign yet, unfinished).

The little ones are in there playing with the taiwan cherry blossoms.

Zone D is also divided into upper and lower levels.

The upper level is D2.

There’s also a row of sinks here.

The grass in this area has been well-maintained and doesn’t pool water easily.

Shooting from the inner end, getting ten tents in the frame should be no problem, right?

Each block has independent bathroom facilities (under construction).

Tonight, one tent occupies the whole zone.

NO:164, on the path to 74 campsites, next stop heading to Hsinchu.

Campsite capacity: 70–100 tents (Phase II not yet completed).

1: Central and low-altitude Nantou has many small black flies, so mosquito prevention at the campsite is essential.
2: The second-phase campsite has just opened for trial stays, and some facilities are not yet completed. For any issues, please contact the campsite owner.
3: The first-phase campsite is great for private group camping, accommodating about 20 tents, with a campfire facility available for use.

Harry's Campsite Good Deals
1: It has a fairly large children’s play area, making it very suitable for family camping.
2: There is a campfire site that can host large group camping events, which is fantastic.
3: Located at mid-altitude with low light pollution, you can view starry skies and the Milky Way.
4: The distant mountains, misty clouds, and sea of clouds offer extraordinarily beautiful scenery, well worth savoring and admiring.
5: During the firefly season, you can see fireflies right in the campsite—no need to go far to enjoy them.
6: The campsite has vending machines with a full range of drinks, which is very convenient.
7: You can enjoy the night view from Guoxing to Puli, which is quite stunning.
