The 2012 Spring Ceremony at Taipei Confucius Temple will take place on February 26 at 8:00 AM. Starting today (February 17) until February 23 (closed on Mondays), the public can collect free "Participation Certificates," which are limited in quantity, so don't miss out.

This year’s Spring Ceremony centers around the theme of "Praying for Academic Success," encouraging students to study diligently. It also incorporates student talent performances to create a unique and refined ceremony at Taipei Confucius Temple, reinterpreting Confucian ritual culture. The temple noted that the Participation Certificates, designed with a "spring and academic prayer" visual theme, are exquisite and worth keeping as souvenirs. Members of the public can collect them in person at the Taipei Confucius Temple Management Committee Office, located at No. 275, Dalong Street, Datong District, Taipei City (275 Dalong St., Datong Dist., Taipei City). Schools, government agencies, and organizations may request group Participation Certificates by letter during the distribution period. For those who can’t get one in advance, 100 Participation Certificates will also be handed out on-site to people queuing up from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM on the day of the ceremony, February 26, until supplies run out.
Taipei Confucius Temple also reminds attendees that, in order to maintain the solemnity and dignity of the Spring Ceremony, children under the age of 10 are not allowed to enter. All participants are asked to dress appropriately, and smoking and eating are prohibited in the venue. No entry will be permitted once the ceremony begins, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
