Jeju is the earliest place in South Korea where you can enjoy cherry blossoms, with the typical blooming period from late March to early April. In addition, local tour buses have been launched on the island starting in March, with routes passing through Jeju Starlight Park, Halla Ecological Forest, Siryeong Forest Road, Gyorye Intersection, Stone Culture Park, Suseok Nature Forest, Jeju Deer Eco Park, Jeju 4·3 Peace Park, Jeju National Museum, Dongmun Market, Gwandejeong Pavilion, Seomun Market, Dragon Head Rock, the Intercity Bus Terminal, Jeju City Hall, the International Ferry Terminal, the Coastal Ferry Terminal, and Jeju International Airport. The entire loop takes about 95 minutes, and a one-day pass costs 5,000 KRW (approximately NT$142), which can be used unlimited times on the same day. Independent travelers can plan their itineraries around the cherry blossom routes.

The unique Jeju variety, the King Cherry, only takes 2–3 days to fully bloom. Famous cherry blossom viewing spots include Dianong Road and Wuchang Stream in Jeonmun-ri, Jeju City, historic sites related to resistance against Mongol invasions, and areas near Jeju University. The latest blooming cherry blossoms on the island can be found along the mountain paths of Hallasan Mountain, where you can still admire their beauty until the second week of April.

Another major highlight in Jeju in March is the Seogwipo Rapeseed Flower International Hiking Festival, held from March 30 to April 1. The event takes place around Jeju Sculpture Park, Sanbangsan Mountain, Dragon Head Coast, and Songaksan Mountain in Seogwipo City. Aside from enjoying the beautiful and enchanting rapeseed flowers, participants can also leisurely stroll and take in the scenery.
