The highly acclaimed “AirAsia Budget Travelers” campaign is back again this year!* Registration runs from September 3 to October 17, and the grand prize winner will receive three free round-trip tickets to any AirAsia destination, plus the chance to serve as an assistant host for one episode of the SET TV travel show “Budget Travelers.” The runner-up will win two free round-trip tickets to any AirAsia destination, and the third-place winner will receive one free round-trip ticket to any AirAsia destination.

This campaign is open to all citizens of the Republic of China aged 18 to 35 with at least 300 Facebook friends who are passionate about travel. During the registration period, participants must upload creative self-introductions in any format—including text, video, or images—to their personal Facebook walls, and submit the link along with their registration details in the “Everyone Can Fly” section on the Budget Travelers Facebook fan page to complete the first stage of the competition.
Twenty winners selected in the first-round preliminary selection will be announced on the fan page’s “Flight Masterpieces Applause” section on November 5, and will then enter the travel blog semifinals from November 12 to 25. These 20 winners must submit two blog articles, providing the web links in the “Flight Masterpieces Applause” section with submission deadlines of November 6 and November 15 respectively. The blog themes will be announced on the fan page. Judging will be based on total number of “likes” from netizens and scores given by the judging panel.
The final 10 finalists will be announced on the fan page’s “Love Dreams, Love Flying” section on November 26, and will compete in a 5-minute live finals performance on December 1. Campaign page: apps.facebook.com/airasiacampusflyer.
