To address this, the Kinmen County Government has launched an online voting campaign for five themed gourmet tour packages: “Loving Kinmen’s Signature Flavors,” “Kinmen Seafood Adventure,” “Hold Li Wang All-Beef Feast Tour,” “Healthy & Relaxed Dining Tour,” and “Magical Oyster & Taro Delights Tour.” The voting is open from now until 24:00 on September 14. Participants who cast their votes on the campaign website will have a chance to win a two-person Kinmen gourmet experience trip and round-trip flights between Taiwan and Kinmen, among other major prizes. This allows travelers to explore Kinmen’s famous attractions between meals and fulfill their desires for both travel and gourmet experiences.

Among the five gourmet theme tours, “Loving Kinmen’s Signature Flavors” highlights unique dishes that can only be found in Kinmen, such as mango beef, taro duck, Kinmen pickled cabbage, and Shaoxing wine-steamed crab. “Kinmen Seafood Adventure” centers around locally sourced fresh seafood, featuring exclusive items like stir-fried sandworms, sea helmets, and wild oysters. “Hold Li Wang All-Beef Feast Tour” emphasizes the use of Kinmen yellow cattle raised on natural grass and fed with sorghum wine lees, yielding tender, fragrant, and sweet meat. Dishes made with fresh beef retain their rich flavors and offer a diverse range of tastes.
For food lovers who also care about maintaining their figure, the “Healthy & Relaxed Dining Tour” offers delicious yet healthy options. Whether it’s President Chiang Ching-kuo’s favorite Shanxi cold noodles, fragrant taro rice noodles and soup dumplings, or irresistibly fresh fruit meals, these options satisfy gourmets’ cravings while supporting a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, highlighting Kinmen’s pride—taro and oysters—the “Magical Oyster & Taro Delights Tour” aims to conquer visitors’ taste buds with the area’s uniquely flavorful, fluffy taro and fresh, pollution-free, plump oysters.
This gourmet-themed tour package voting campaign will select one winner for a two-person Kinmen gourmet experience trip, two winners for a single-person Kinmen gourmet experience trip, and five winners for one-year round-trip flight tickets between Taiwan and Kinmen.
