“People” and “architecture” are the two most fundamental elements that make up a “city,” while “strolling” is a way of traveling without strictly fixed destinations, allowing one to feel the subtle interplay among people, architecture, and the city. In light of this, the Taipei City Government’s Department of Information and Tourism has organized the “Taipei. Endless Journey” photography competition, hoping tothrough the lenses of travelersdiscover the beauty of the interaction among people, architecture, and the urban environment in Taipei. The competition is now open for submissions until October 15th. The first prize winner will receive a cash award of NT$30,000. The winning entries will be exhibited at the Taipei Explorer Dome, and selected works will also be featured on the “Taipei Tourism Network.”

This photography competition centers on the theme of mutual exchange and interaction between “people and the city” as well as “architecture and the city.” For the first time, online submissions are allowed, making it more convenient and immediate for participants to upload their works and promote them through social media. The event will select the top three Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners, along with 10 Honorable Mentions and 20 Merit Award entries. The Gold Award-winning work will receive a sole cash prize of NT$30,000.
