Organized by Taiwanese designers, the "Taiwan Designers' Week" has entered its sixth edition this year. The main exhibition venue is set up at the Exhibition Hall of the Yuanshan Park in the Taipei Flower Expo, officially opening last week on September 14 and running until September 23. The exhibition theme is defined as 《FLOW》, symbolizing Taiwanese designers’ strong desire for infinite possibilities and new opportunities in future development—the power of forward momentum where inspiration bursts forth and creativity flows endlessly (The Power of Forward). This year, over 500 designers’ works and 100 design brands and teams are participating. The event mainly includes the “Main Theme Exhibition, Themed Joint Exhibitions, Design Industry Image Exhibition, and Design Rising Stars,” as well as the first-ever 《Design Film Festival X Urban Nomad》 activity debuting at Taiwan Designers' Week. Co-organized by Taiwan Designers' Week and Urban Nomad, which has ten years of film festival experience, this is Taipei’s first film festival themed around “design.” It will be exclusively screened in the Design Plaza area during Taiwan Designers' Week.

Taiwan Designers' Week connects ten major themed joint exhibitions, allowing the public to appreciate how domestic designers across various fields interpret their latest works based on ten design themes. This year, the sources of inspiration for the designers are summarized into four aspects: “FLOW – Reflections on Life Phenomena,” “FLOW – Local Cultural Memory,” “FLOW – Environmental Sustainability and Symbiosis,” and “FLOW – Design Principles and Techniques.”

The Design Industry Image Exhibition 3X3 Design Show brings together domestic and international designer teams to showcase their brands, flagship products, and latest design works. This year, the exhibition has seen more diverse developments than in previous years, covering 12 design fields. These include “Lifestyle Stationery and Daily Design” and “Tableware Design,” which focus on everyday aesthetics and functional living; as well as “Furniture and Home Decor Design,” “Wooden Object Design,” and “Lighting Design,” which center around the atmosphere between people and space. The event also features a marketplace platform that emphasizes “design” as its highlight, with international creative product designers coming to Taipei for exchanges. This activity will take place on both weekends during Taiwan Designers' Week, from the afternoon to the evening, at the Long Corridor Plaza next to the Exhibition Hall of Yuanshan Park in the Taipei Flower Expo.

From now until September 23, visitors who present a September ticket to the newly opened Halls 3 of the Taipei Flower Expo (Dream Hall, Expo Taipei Pavilion, and Future Pavilion) can purchase Taiwan Designers' Week tickets on-site at a discounted price of NT$200 (original price NT$230). Additionally, 10 members of the public can visit Taiwan Designers' Week for free. Starting now, the first 10 individuals who present three September tickets to the Dream Hall, Expo Taipei Pavilion, and Future Pavilion in the New Hall Area of the Taipei Flower Expo can exchange one Taiwan Designers' Week ticket at the Yuanshan Park Visitor Service Center.
