In recent years, smartphones have become ubiquitous, and various apps have turned mobile devices into important platforms for users to access information and entertainment. Even the travel-related information people rely on during holidays can be obtained through apps. The free comprehensive travel app “365 Taiwan Joyful Journey,” planned by MOOK Scenic Spots Family Travel Network, climbed to the top of the iPhone travel category just three days after its launch, showing that using travel apps to handle all aspects of travel has gradually become a trend. This free, all-in-one travel app provides the latest information on festivals, cultural performances, food, and accommodations across Taiwan. It also allows users to search for the hottest nearby events via location-based services and save favorites for quick access and tracking.

The “365 Taiwan Joyful Journey” app covers all kinds of travel, music, exhibitions, festivals, performances, family-friendly, food, accommodation, shopping, and other information across Taiwan, as well as updates on popular events. Users can filter content by category, including latest, most popular, status, and trending, to get the newest event info right away. You can also use filters such as date, type, and region—or keyword searches—to find specific events. Events can be added to personal calendars, and on the event info page, tapping the icon next to the time will allow you to set reminders. Tapping the address or transport icons will link to maps and help plan your route.

Additionally, the app’s map search function enables users to locate nearby events using their phone’s GPS, and they can also view events by distance in list form. The “favorites” feature not only lets you save events you’re interested in, but also categorizes them as “ongoing” or “not yet started” for instant status checks. This travel app was jointly launched by the Good Mobile team of City Media and the MOOK website Scenic Spots Family. Currently, only the iPhone version is available.
