The annual Taiwan Cycling Festival takes place from November 10 to 18 this year, drawing cyclists from across the country to compete. If you're planning a trip to cheer them on but are overwhelmed by choosing quality stays, food, and cultural activities, worry no more. To help visitors easily experience the beauty of Hualien and Taitung, the East Coast National Scenic Area Administration is hosting the "Treasure You, Travel Across Hualien & Taitung" stamp-collecting campaign. Partnering with 101 featured pearl shops selected by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, visitors can collect stamps when patronizing these shops to redeem gifts and enter lucky draws.

The Tourism Bureau launched the “Shining Hualien & Taitung: 101 Featured Pearl Shops – Shop Selection Campaign” this year. After an enthusiastic selection process, 101 of the most distinctive shops in the Hualien and Taitung region were chosen on September 24. These include six categories: culture, food, shopping, romance, lifestyle, and ecology. Each shop is like a shining pearl scattered across the beautiful land of Hualien and Taitung, waiting for travelers to discover. From November 1 to December 31, simply shop at any of these pearl shops to receive a pearl stamp. Collect three stamps from different categories and you can redeem a small event gift at any East Coast National Scenic Area Administration visitor center.
