Combine flower viewing with tribal tours – The Golden Summit Roselle Festival kicks off in November

This year’s series of events for the Golden Summit Roselle Festival in Jinfeng Township, Taitung County, will be held from November 1 to 30. On November 17, at the Xinxing Community Cultural Park (at the foot of the TaiMaLi Golden Needle Mountain), the event will kick off with the “Guardians of Eternal Memory – Thousand People Stabbing Flowers Photo Collection Campaign,” and on November 24, at the Jialan Community Activity Center, the “Connecting Seeds of Hope – Thousand People Beading Guardianship Campaign” will continue the theme.

During the event period, five major themes are designed: “Story Performances,” “Exhibitions,” “Product Sales,” “Experience Activities,” and “Carnival Events,” paired with packaged activity itineraries to showcase the rich content of the decade-long Roselle Festival. In addition, the organizers have arranged a series of travel packages, including: Roselle Festival challenge experience activities, visits to the Pottery Street, Jialan Permanent Residences, hands-on handicraft making, listening to tribal chiefs tell stories, and tours of the Sabuyu Tribe. Moreover, visitors may also have the chance to participate in the Thousand People Stabbing Flowers, Thousand People Beading, and online flower-stabbing photo collection campaigns to win exquisite prizes.

This year’s event is combined with the TaiMaLi Township Hot Spring Festival, offering experiences such as soaking in hot springs while tasting roselle.
