Hong Kong’s hugely popular cha chaan teng, Tim Ho Wan, is opening a branch in Taiwan, with its first location set in the National Father Memorial Hall area—a restaurant beloved by many Hong Kong stars such as Chow Yun-fat, Carina Lau, and Anthony Wong.

Tim Ho Wan originated in Ping Shan, Yuen Long, Hong Kong, and is jointly operated by Madam Wah and her three sons. In addition to the original Ping Shan branch, it now has outlets in Wan Chai, Kwun Tong, and Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong.
