Thanks to the warm winter, many flowering plants have bloomed earlier than usual. In February, the whole of Taiwan went crazy for the soft pink and magenta trumpet trees, while the vibrant peach-pink bougainvillea also flowered ahead of schedule. In many places, bougainvillea suddenly erupted in full bloom, with trees covered in clusters of vivid, dewy blossoms — truly stunning and uniquely charming.

One of them is a bougainvillea-lined path stretching500meters, located at the Chungsha East Park in West District, Taichung. With few nearby residents and even fewer visitors, it’s usually not crowded and has only recently been discovered as a hidden floral paradise.
