To celebrate the hotel’s fourth birthday, the chefs have put great thought into the menu, rotating different main courses every two weeks: grilled U.S. ribeye steak, German crispy pork knuckle, freshly baked shawarma, and Junpin’s Eight Treasures Chicken — all offered in unlimited portions as a thank-you to all loyal customers. The grilled U.S. ribeye steak uses premium Prime-grade ribeye, marinated for about two hours with a mix of spices and mustard, then slow-roasted at around 60°C for 2.5 hours until the center reaches 45°C. It is then wrapped in foil and left at room temperature to lock in the juices before slicing and serving.
The German crispy pork knuckle uses the more chewy hind leg, cured in coarse salt for three days, then simmered in a rich vegetable broth before being roasted at high heat to achieve a crispy, golden crust. The crunchy skin pairs perfectly with tender, sweet meat, and when served with sauerkraut and mustard sauce, each bite delivers a non-greasy, juicy, and tender texture. Originating from Turkish kebabs, the freshly baked shawarma features chicken skewers grilled to a golden brown, sliced and served with specially spiced Middle Eastern rice infused with cumin and turmeric, along with tomato-cucumber salad. With each bite, the juicy meat and sweet vegetable flavors blend together in a rich, refreshing taste that’s unforgettable. As the crown jewel of Junpin, the Eight Treasures Chicken features an ingenious filling — a blend of eight premium ingredients that create an unprecedented burst of flavor. First, the chicken broth-soaked glutinous rice and Canadian organic wild rice are soaked overnight to absorb the flavors, then mixed with dried shrimp, chicken, mushrooms, chicken gizzard, and liver, stir-fried carefully, and infused with Cognac to enhance the umami. Finally, plump, juicy oysters are added. All ingredients are stuffed inside the chicken and roasted for about an hour and a half to produce an incredibly tender and flavorful roast chicken.

Delivered directly from Canada every three days, the slipper oysters, which take 20 years to grow, come from the deep sea under 16°C in Canada. Rich in protein and low in fat, each oyster is about 15 cm in size, with firm, plump, and elastic flesh. The chef uses a charcoal-grilled cooking method to highlight the oysters’ natural sweetness. The first bite brings a hint of the sea’s salinity, and as you break open the oyster, the refreshing, cucumber-like sweetness bursts forth, offering a bold and satisfying taste.

To continuously surprise diners, the buffet now offers more than 20 types of fresh organic vegetables from around the world, a made-to-order Japanese sushi bar, a Thai-style cold salad section, a luxurious selection of freshly caught seafood, a Spanish TAPAS station, an array of beautifully presented desserts, and Movenpick ice cream where you can customize your own toppings. Moreover, the hotel has invested in a cheese fondue machine and a wood-sliced bread station for your DIY fun. The popular dessert station has also introduced a new highlight: 12 varieties of premium chocolates from Carma, Switzerland’s top chocolate bean brand, featuring different cocoa contents — an exquisite cocoa tasting journey that invites you to explore the limitless charm of chocolate.
