Happy Hong Kong Harbour City – Snoopy Keeps You Company This Summer

As summer heats up, the ground floor atrium of Ocean Terminal in Harbour City will transform into a Snoopy Art Park, taking everyone on a dreamy journey with Snoopy. Both adults and children can explore the park, take photos with Snoopy in various poses, and even join weekend workshops to showcase their artistic potential and unleash boundless creativity.

SNOOPY ARTLAND

The art park features a summery color scheme of pink-blue and pink, with colorful Snoopy-shaped patterns covering the floor, exuding a joyful atmosphere. True to his usual laid-back character, Snoopy is lying on a 12-ton doghouse daydreaming. Children can crawl through the doghouse to the nearby slide to play, while Snoopy enjoys a cool treat of soft serve ice cream, popsicles, and cupcakes, waiting for everyone to visit.A nearly 5-ton-tall “I LOVE MY DOG” declaration stands in the park, a must-photo spot for Snoopy fans and dog owners.

 

 

Painting Workshop

Joeie Chan, the designer behind the popular online illustration “Biebie Pig,” collaborates with the mall for the first time, personally teaching participants how to draw fun Snoopy illustrations, giving them a taste of being an illustrator. Participants will also receive a pack of special edition Snoopy stickers, while stocks last.

 

The Facebook page of the popular online illustration “Biebie Pig” was created in 2013 and gained over 130,000 followers within a year. The 22-year-old designer Joeie Chan is still a student. Joeie created the illustrations featuring “Biebie Pig” by chance, but her friends found “Biebie Pig” very fun and cute, so they suggested she set up a Facebook page for it.At first, Joeie used “Biebie Pig” illustrations to depict things happening around her. Later, she found that some 9-panel comics featuring “Biebie Pig” and Hong Kong’s collective memories resonated most with her fans. As a result, the “Biebie Pig” comics have since focused on themes of Hong Kong’s collective memories, becoming the unique style of “Biebie Pig.”In Joeie Chan’s eyes, Snoopy is a very optimistic and happy dog, and at nearly 65 years old, it is a childhood memory for many Hong Kong people.

Cookie Baking Class

Lolo Chan, the owner of “Dog Cake Shop,” has offered an online reservation service for dog cakes and snacks since 2008, winning the support of dog owners with her philosophy of “ALL for GOOD, None for bad.”Lolo will personally teach participants how to bake healthy dog biscuits, allowing them to give their beloved pets a sweet treat. Harbour City has also prepared delicious butter cookies, with instructors guiding participants to paint intricate Snoopy and Woodstock designs on the cookies—both delicious and presentable, perfect for dog lovers.Participants will also receive a pack of special edition Snoopy stickers, while stocks last.
