We sincerely invite all film enthusiasts to come cool off and enjoy a movie under the stars at Treasure Hill on weekend evenings.

This has made Treasure Hill a village that records the imprints of fractured time, accidentally creating a naturally layered and staggered spatial layout that has attracted many directors to shoot films here, highlighting the unique quality of the settlement as a location filled with potential backdrops.In 1989, director Tsai Yang-ming shot the film “Big Head Son” here, with lead actor Wan Chi-lung winning the Best Actor award at the Golden Horse Awards that year. From then until 2011, a total of seven films and one TV drama were shot in this location. This art village has selected seven films to be screened at Treasure Hill International Artist Village, including “Big Head Son,” “Paradise Drift,” “Flour Starter,” and others.

In addition to watching films, you can also visit the actual movie shooting locations, imitate the actors’ lines, actions, and scenes, and experience the emotions of the actors at the time as well as the uniqueness of Treasure Hill as a filming spot. You can also spend the night at the Treasure Hill Loft Youth Hostel, experiencing the distinctive blend of old and new architectural styles, and observing the development of Treasure Hill through the years. Starting October 4 through November 1, every Saturday at 2:30 pm, the “Memory Overlap – Treasure Village Film Tunnel Book Workshop” will also be held, allowing participants to experience how memories can be revived and replicated, creating their own unique handmade books.
