The filming location for “Lucy” was the food court on the 4th floor of Yongle Market. There are currently no renovation projects underway,In the movie “Lucy,” famous food stalls on the 4th floor of Yongle Market—A Fa Snacks and A Wen Keelung Seafood—were both featured. Director Luc Besson chose this location for filming precisely because the authentic Taiwanese flavors in the market matched the original concept of the film script. The scenes remain unchanged from when they were filmed.; In response to the recent surge in visitors coming to see the filming locations on the 4th floor of Yongle Market following the movie’s release, guidance signs will be set up at the building entrances this week to help the public find the locations directly, allowing them to visit the actual “Lucy” filming spots. Additionally, while visiting, guests can also enjoy the well-known foods on the 4th floor of Yongle Market.

Additionally, the renovation project on the first floor of Yongle Market began as originally scheduled in early March this year. Due to the unknown release date of the movie and differing opinions among vendors, reaching a consensus proved difficult, leading to delays in the project. It is now scheduled to be completed in October. During the renovation period, to avoid affecting the vendors’ livelihoods, they have been temporarily relocated to temporary stalls on both sides of Dihua Street and Yongchang Street, as well as to the 4th floor of Yongle Market. Once the first floor is completed, they will return to their original locations to resume business.
