Taitung Picnic Living Festival
A slow pace is one of the reasons many tourists are drawn to Taitung, and what could be more delightful than enjoying a leisurely summer picnic on a vast green lawn? The Taitung County Government is hosting the Taitung Picnic Living Festival from June 28 to September 14. All members of the public who register can enjoy a picnic on the grass in front of the Black Pomfret Warehouse at the Railway Art Village every Saturday and Sunday from 3:00–6:00 PM during the event period. During the picnic, the organizers will also prepare activities featuring local ingredients, ethnic traditions, and cross-boundary creativity, ensuring each relaxing picnic is full of enriching experiences. Come to Taitung on the weekend, join in the fun cultural experiences at the Railway Village, feel the diversity of Taitung, and enjoy life on the grassy field.

Now, after a month of rest and preparation, these ten bands scattered across Taiwan are set to take the stage on 8/24 (Sunday)
for an absolutely spectacular musical showdown.

Hualien Soaring Season
The 2014 Hualien Soaring Season runs from July 19 to August 31 at the Fenglin Environmental Technology Park. This year, in addition to the vibrant hot air balloons taking flight, there are also family-friendly water play facilities, light aircraft performances, Hualien specialty stalls, and gourmet food banquets, all happening simultaneously—guaranteed to catch the eye of every visitor.
