Masue Ueki, Senior Planner of KANSAI COLLECTION Co., Ltd., also noted that KANSAI COLLECTION is held twice a year, in spring/summer and autumn/winter, and has taken place seven times to date. With a single-day attendance capacity of up to 30,000 people, and approximately 90% of attendees being female, it has become one of Japan’s four major fashion shows. This year, for the first time, Taiwanese models from Eelin Entertainment have been invited to appear on the “Taiwan Stage” during the 2014 Autumn/Winter event, and Taiwanese audiences are encouraged to attend and experience it. The KANSAI COLLECTION fashion event receives extensive media coverage in Japan, with TV Asahi even editing highlights into a special program set to air soon. Ms. Wan-Ruo Chen, Chairwoman & CEO of Eelin Entertainment, also expressed great joy at being invited by the organizers of KANSAI COLLECTION, and hopes that Taiwanese audiences will come together to cheer on the Eelin models.

KANSAI COLLECTION aims to bring the “cultural movement originating from Kansai” to the world,offering young women in the Kansai region the chance to experience the latest in fashion, music, and talk shows through a dynamic fusion of fashion shows, hairstyling, nail art, makeup, and trendy accessories—allowing participants to enjoy a star-level, model-inspired lifestyle experience.

 

The 2014 Autumn/Winter Kansai Fashion Collection features numerous renowned Japanese models and popular singers. The expected lineup includes familiar faces such as models and entertainers like Lena Fujii, Tina Tamashiro, Yuki Kinoshita, Akiko Kumada, and AFTERSCHOOL’s Nana (Yuzuna Takebe), along with a special mystery guest not to be missed. This year also marks the first invitation for Taiwanese models to participate; the well-known Charlene Xia from Eelin Entertainment made her debut in June this year by starring in an all-Japanese-script NHK TV special about the Forbidden City’s cultural relics, co-starring with acclaimed Japanese actor Shosuke Tanihara.

Taiwanese travel agencies are also showing strong support by offering a variety of tour packages, allowing the public to join group trips to the “2014.9.21 Kansai Autumn/Winter Fashion Collection,” experiencing the cutting-edge Fashion Concert, discovering Japan’s latest trends, and touring the beauty of Osaka.
