"Pink Lane" is an art playground that has landed in the city. This playful space has an intriguing name made up of three unique characters. "Pink" is a slang term meaning "very," extremely, or super. "Le" (乐) is pronounced like the Mandarin word for happy, and "Ding" (町) is a Japanese kanji character pronounced the same as the Chinese word "ting" (挺), carrying the subtle connotation of cross-cultural exchange, meaning a place or corner. In summary, "Pink Lane" (Very Fun Park) refers to a very joyful place.

Through the presence of art, Pink Lane is nestled in the city streets we often stroll through—perhaps at a street corner, along a road, or inside a shop. Artworks step out of gallery display spaces and enter our daily lives. There’s no need to queue or buy tickets; anyone passing by can stop and admire, observing the relationship between the artworks, their surroundings, and people. And now,it exists right around us. With just a little attention, you can encounter art and discover how approachable it really is.

◎ Nine Joys of Pink Lane, Enjoy a Vibrant Art Summer
Pink Lane strides into its ninth exhibition amid the sweltering summer heat. Along the way, it has experienced the flavors of nine different fruits, but looking back now, they all taste sweet. Though peeling away the tough skins and digging deep before tasting may be required, what’s most moving is precisely the sense of preciousness that comes from something hard-earned. Fortunately, the efforts accumulated have translated into heartfelt expressions. The spirit of Pink Lane is warmth and joy, bringing beauty and hope to life, sharing inspiration through selfless artistic creation.

Pink Lane welcomes creators from around the world every year, setting up tables in alleyways and street corners where ideas collide and gazes are exchanged. Through art, it hosts gatherings filled with human warmth, sharing various creative flavors amid summer heat and rain, seasoned with the wonder and laughter of exploration. This is made possible thanks to the support and trust of both the public and businesses. It’s where old friends and new faces meet, together enriching our collective memories.
This year, artists from around the globe will interpret various spatial forms through their creations. Over thirty artworks will welcome everyone in a wall-free format, while sixty enthusiastic volunteers offer guidance and service. Pink Lane opens its arms in welcome, hoping that in every embrace and greeting, a rosy hue of joy will be shared.
