Antelope Canyon, located in Page, a not particularly bustling small town in northern Arizona, USA, has two mysterious and beautiful canyons not far to the southeast of the town. When sunlight streams into the deep and tranquil valley, the interplay of light and shadow forms a stunning dance that radiates captivating charm, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts. This is Antelope Canyon within the Navajo Nation protected area. Geographically, the canyon is divided into two separate parts, known as Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon.

Antelope Canyon lies within a dry riverbed year-round and is divided into Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon based on terrain. Upper Antelope Canyon, called "Tse bighanilini" in Navajo, means "the place where water flows through rocks." As it features a wider valley and is located above ground, it is the most visited part. Lower Antelope Canyon looks unremarkable from the outside, and if you don’t pay close attention, it’s easy to miss the deep canyon hidden within the crevice beneath your feet. To explore it, you need to climb metal stairs down into the earth, and you may even need ropes at some points to complete the journey. Due to its higher level of difficulty in access, fewer tourists visit, but it is a popular spot for photographers.
