As winter sets in and cold fronts sweep through, to help more people enjoy a cozy season, Taiping Mountain National Forest Recreation Area has introduced the “Jiuzi Ze Hot Springs Starlight Ticket”,Visitors who enter Jiuzi Ze Hot Springs after 4:00 PM can purchase a starlight ticket for just NT$50 (not applicable from Lunar New Year’s Day to the 5th).

Jiuzi Ze Hot Springs features clear, colorless, and odorless water that leaves your skin feeling smooth. It is a weak alkaline calcium carbonate hot spring known for relaxing muscles and beautifying the skin, earning the reputation of a “Beauty Spring.” To offer visitors diverse soaking experiences, the Taiping Mountain National Forest Park provides open-air SPA pools, gender-segregated nude soaking areas, and family wild soaking zones. The open-air SPA pools are creatively made by carving large stream rocks brought by typhoons. The gender-segregated and family soaking areas allow guests to enjoy the phytoncides of broadleaf forests and soothing hot springs amidst serene valleys.

The post-soak gourmet experience is not to be missed. Ingredients at Jiuzi Ze Restaurant are sourced from local farmers in Yilan and the Yilan County Farmers’ Association, ensuring fresh, local produce for delicious regional dishes. Additionally, outside the lodge is a volcano-shaped egg-boiling pool that continuously emits hot spring water year-round, allowing visitors to DIY their own hot spring eggs. These eggs have a soft, chewy texture and a unique hot spring aroma, making them a delightful treat after your soak!
